Master or PhD students interested in doing an internship or coming for an extended visit to CWTS in Leiden are more than welcome to send an email. Please specify the topic you want to work on and how it relates to the work I am doing. If our interests align an internship is usually possible. Currently my main interests are:

 

- The epistemic effects of research governance (understanding the effects of governance on the content of research)

- More-than human research and innovation (bringing multispecies studies in conversation with STS)

​

- New research qualities, especially sustainability and theories of research quality.

PhD opportunities are scarce in the Netherlands. If we have a PhD-position available it is advertised widely. In case you want to do a PhD and have ideas on how to fund it (a particular funding program or something else) do send me an email.
